Bruni Maslen

Bruni Maslen

lives in Apsley, Hertfordshire with her three teenage daughters.

All her life she had a keen interest in exploring the connection of body, mind, and spirit, always exploring new ways of "becoming one with oneself" using movement, massage, meditation, yoga, dance, imagination and music. She has got a special interest in working with the mentally and physically disabled.

Bruni has been involved in complementary health for over 20 years, teaching and performing Eurythmy (creative movement) to children and adults of all ages and abilities throughout Europe and Japan. In the last few years she focused increasingly on bodywork and healing. She also teaches massage workshops locally and abroad. Bruni is a senior trainer for Ananda Spa in the Himalayas and Shanti Ananda Maurice.

Her main interest lies in combining massage, meditation and movement to create awareness, acceptance, balance and harmony of body, mind and spirit.

She studied Eurythmy in Nuremberg, Germany, Massage with Essentials for Health, Acupressure with the Academy of On-Site-Massage in London, Thai Yoga Massage with Asokananda in Austria and Kira Balaskas in London and Ayurveda and Pranic Healing in Kerala, India and Yoga at the Integral School of Yoga UK. She is a member of Embody, CThA, OSMA, TTYMA, the Yoga Alliance and the Sunshine Network Institute.

Bruni is co-founder of Kalyana Therapies and "Ahimsa Portugal". She also works in the Yoga Hall, St. Albans, film studios, exhibitions, and teaches at Camphill Delrow College.

Garri Wiest

holds a Masters Degree in Gestalt Psychotherapy and a Bachelors degree in Psychology with an emphasis on ecopsychology. He works with individuals and small groups who feel disconnected from themselves and their environment.

He started his own therapeutic journey of self-development and training 26 years ago. He practices psychotherapy from a Gestalt perspective having previously studied Psychology and Psychoanalysis.

He is BACP registered and subscribes to the UKCP and GPTI Code of Ethics and Practice. He is professionally supervised and committed to on-going personal development as a means to maintain, deepen and expand his skills and knowledge.

He has been a student of Zen Buddhism for over twenty years and incorporates both Eastern and Western psychology into his therapeutic practice. Apart from working with individuals, couples and groups, he offers a range of different development workshops and meditation retreats on the integration of psychological and transformational practice.

He is the co-founder of Kalyana Therapies and When Things Fall Apart, an educational foundation dedicated to the exploration and development of Ecopsychology.
